The mission of the Coalinga Transit System is to promote and provide a safe and reliable transit service to the citizens of Coalinga.
The Dial-A-Ride Program provides transportation services locally only within the city limits of Coalinga and operates five (5) days a week Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. thru 4:15 p.m. with the exception of holidays.
The program is publicly funded and provides transportation services to the elderly (65+), disabled, low income, and general public patrons. The Dial-A-Ride Program is designed to help passengers with the opportunity to benefit from local social events, community services and to help them make personal local appointments.
The Americans With Disability Act (A.D.A.) stresses the importance of persons with disabilities to have the opportunity to use accessible transportation to maintain mobility and independence in the community. All passengers using Dial-A-Ride must wear seat belts at all times, there are no exceptions to this rule. Also, all wheelchairs must be equipped with proper brakes and will be secured to the vehicle for safety.

City of Coalinga is pleased to announce Dial-a-Ride service is available on Friday. Riders may request service by calling (559) 935-1511 and press 1 for Dial-a-Ride. Although City Hall is closed on Friday service is available for riders to use. Call (559) 935-1511 and press 1 for Dial-a-Ride. Leave a message with your name, phone number, location and time you are requesting your pick up. The driver will then respond to your request. As a reminder service is available Monday- Friday from 8:30am to 4:15pm with the exception of 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
