Coalinga Police Department

The Coalinga Police Department is located in the Pleasant Valley in Western Fresno County. The City of Coalinga is located approximately 12 miles southwest of Interstate 5 almost exactly between the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco. The City of Coalinga is located less than two hours from California’s Pacific Coast.

The Coalinga Police Department has a total of 19 sworn officers. The department is divided into two divisions, patrol and support services. Each division has its own commander. The Coalinga Police Department has its own full-time 24 hours a day  dispatch center. There is also a school resource officer, a traffic unit, investigations, animal control, and an evidence technician.
