Minimum Qualifications: Twenty-one years of age; a U.S. Citizen; high school and P.O.S.T. academy graduate; successfully pass a background investigation and a psychological and physical examination including drug and alcohol screening; possess a valid California Drivers License; proficient in firearms; and the ability to maintain professionalism, react effectively during stressful situations, and uphold the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics at all times.
