In partnership with Unwired Broadband, as part of the fiber to the home project that Unwired Broadband is pursuing, Telcon Services has been and will continue to be in the area performing data collection to facilitate the installation of fiber communications in Coalinga. While it may appear that they are taking photos of potentially private property, they are utilizing phones to gather positional GPS data. They will continue to be in the area for the rest of the week.
Telcon Services currently has three employees working to complete this work. They will be identifiable by hi-vis vests with the Telcon Services logo affixed to it. Unfortunately, they do not have identifiable markings on their vehicles. This will be rectified as soon as possible.
