Construction Notice Update!

PLEASE READ

Polk Street from Elm Avenue to 5th Street will be closed intermittently starting Monday June 21st thru July 2nd between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm. Please use the posted detours during the hours of Construction.

If you reside or work in the area of construction your property may be temporarily impacted during construction. You are encouraged to contact City of Coalinga Public Works as soon as possible regarding any special circumstances. 

See below information which may affect residents during construction activities:

ACCESS: Vehicle and pedestrian traffic access will be restricted at times during construction activities; alternate routes (detours) will be available.

PARKING: On-street parking is prohibited in the construction zone during the workdays, Monday through Friday, and work hours only. Vehicles parked on street may be towed away at the owner’s expense. You may park on the street during the week after construction hours.

PEDESTRIANS: Safe pedestrian access will be maintained at all time, however be advised to avoid work areas. Please respect all equipment, signs and notices.

HOUSEHOLDS: Please do not allow any household/business or landscape water to run off your property and down the gutter during work activity. It could cause delays in construction work.
